A Reminder

While there is nothing wrong with anger itself, there is a critical distinction in how we attribute it.
This Elizabeth Kenny quote is a reminder that we give away our power when allowing others to dictate how we feel.
How we feel — whether it be angry, happy, or sad — is a CHOICE that YOU get to make. Why abdicate this power to someone else?
So if you want to feel angry, then by all means FEEL IT. But be careful if saying that “he/she/it made me angry”. That is disempowering.
Compare that to “I am choosing to feel angry right now”.
Slight difference… but a very powerful one.
Just a little something to ponder.
